The starting point for the development of the Zero Waste in Construction symposium was the project team's long-standing involvement with sustainable construction and sustainable lifestyles. "The documentary wants to explore everyday life in the Jakomini district and create a home movie of a different kind, as a journey to the residents that focuses on people's wishes for the future of their district. Above all, the film wants to show people in the field of tension between the relentlessness of urban everyday realities and the permanent flight into the security of their very own constructed illusory worlds and places of retreat over the entire period of 2020. Through omissions and the transformation and deformation of so-called reality, the film intends to achieve a certain documentary film aesthetic. (...)"
