Results: Co-design contest Sonneninsel Linsendorf

In an approx. one-year collection of milestones: opening, setting up, condensation and implementation or in the context of lively and regenerative processes, ideas, discussions, planning, research and legal framework, a content concept for the preparation of the tender documents for an international student competition "Sun Island Linsendorf" has been developed. With the involvement of the local stakeholders (Province of Carinthia, Municipality of Gallizien, Karawanken - Karavanke UNESCO Global Geopark) as well as the client Kandussi Holding GmbH, all project participants were given enough space to express their own WHAT? WHY? WHO? HOW? UNTIL WHEN? to position themselves.

This co-design process, which is directly interrelated to the planning task and the stakeholder structure as well as to the current challenges, was conceived and executed by the team of adasca e.U..

"The team of the office for spatial and urban planning | urban research Sanela Pansinger - adasca e.U. is responsible for concept and competition process. It worked out different questions in a process of several months: What can a spatial organization for a scenic jewel look like that is developed collaboratively for the future based on current needs - ecologically, economically, socially and design-wise sustainable?" - gat.st
