International student competition

adasca is taking the next step in the project Sonneninsel Linsendorf and is currently working on the competition tender in the co-design process: https://www.linsendorfersee.at/wettbewerb

Submissions are possible until the end of June 2022. The competition is aimed at architecture students and demands innovative, future-oriented solutions. The objective is the creation of a lighthouse project for the Galicia region that is in line with the Karawanken UNESCO Global Geopark, the Carinthian regional tourism strategy and international climate protection goals. It's about redefining the relationship between people and the environment, about preserving, intensifying and sharing the beautiful with others.

We are looking for ideas with a visionary character that are nonetheless more realistic in the long term and serve as a guide for future developments. The competition should be the initial spark for a long-term dynamic process for the economic and tourist development of the scenic gem. A five-person jury of experts will meet in July to distribute the € 9,000 prize money; the award ceremony is scheduled for September 2022.
